MANAGER DE CRUCERO – GUÍA ESPAÑOL

Descripción puesto vacante:
• coordinación de actividades a bordo del crucero
• planificación y realización del programa de información y entretenimiento a bordo del crucero
• comunicación directa con los turistas sobre el programa del crucero
• acompañar junto al guía local a los turistas en las excursiones
• colaborar con el Manager del Hotel y con el resto de la tripulación, así como con guías locales, con el personal del transporte local, con los conductores de autobuses, etc.
• mantener un ambiente relajado a bordo
• solucionar las diversas contingencias que puedan ocurrir durante el recorrido

Requisitos:
• buenos conocimientos de inglés
• buenos conocimientos generales de cultura, geografía e historia europea
• buenos conocimientos de Word, Excel, Power Point y navegación Internet
• muy buenas habilidades de comunicación oral, oratoria en público, de entretener el ambiente
• habilidades de organización, capacidad analítica
• capacidad de relacionarse y de comunicación
• presencia agradable y respetuosa
• Proactivo/a
• Resistencia al estrés y capacidad de solucionar problemas
• Capacidad de adaptación a nuevas situaciones
• disponibilidad de viajar

Requisitos deseados:
• estudios superiores/Diplomatura en Geografía y Turismo
• conocimientos de italiano/ francés
• experiencia en turismo, como guía

The presence of a Cruise Director is essential for any succesful cruise. Mainly, the Cruise Director serves as the planner for all types of shipboard entertainment and activities. Along with ensuring that all social and cultural events are well coordinated, the cruise director also often acts as the main source of information for the guests on the cruise, ensuring they are having an enjoyable experience.

At DCR, all Cruise Directors begin their careers as an assistant that focuses on a limited number of cruise activities. This gives the novice some experience in how to coordinate a wide range of events and services that help to make cruises so attractive and pleasant for the paying guests. This period of applying accumulated knowledge while under the watchful eye of an experienced professional can make all the difference refining the skills required to be a successful cruise director. The activity of a Cruise Director’s Trainee involves evening entertaiment games and activities, learning how to deal with difficult clients, what to do in the event that some activity is not working well for the guests, handling last minute changes to the cruise schedule, and responding to queries from the passengers.

Pré-requis:
- très bonne pratique de la langue française (la pratique d’autres langues étrangères serait un atout)
- la maîtrise de l’outil informatique (pack Office, navigation sur Internet)
- les connaissances et / ou l’expérience dans le domaine du tourisme et de la comptabilité seront beaucoup appréciées

- coordonner les activités, organiser les événements du programme à bord
- communiquer directement avec les touristes sur le programme de croisière
- maintenir une atmosphère détendue à bord
- résoudre les divers problèmes qui pourraient se poser lors de la croisière
